Call for Applications and Registration from august 10th to September 15th, 2024
Requirements:
- Must be between 18 and 65 years old.
- Must reside near one of the training locations: Playa del Carmen (Xcaret Park), Cancún (Hotel Zone), Tulum (Xel Há Park), Cozumel (Playa Casitas) or surrounding areas.
- Complete the form on the official website.
- Must know how to swim in open waters (intermediate and advanced levels). A 1200-meter swim test with a time limit will be conducted.
- Download the form (which you will find on the official website) and go to the nearest Red Cross delegation for a medical evaluation, mentioning your participation int Sacred Mayan Journey. The examination requires a recovery contribution for the benefit on the Red Cross.
- Have respect and appreciation for pre-Hispanic culture.
Important:
- Registration is free and will be done exclusively through the website: www.travesiasagrada.com.
- Once the call for applications is closed, a selection filter for the swim tests will be conducted.
- Only candidates who pass the swim test can register and be part of the training sessions that begins in November 2024.
- Attendance at all training sessions is mandatory; if the candidate does not meet the minimum attendance percentage, they will be dismissed from the journey.
- Registrations are non-transferable and non-refundable.
- Sacred Mayan Journey reserves the right of admission.

*Training will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at the Xcaret and Xel Há locations from 6:00 to 8:00 am and on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at the Cancún and Cozumel locations from 5:30 am to 7:30 am. Long paddle training sessions for all locations will take place at
